Caught yesterday, June 1st, filming on location in Lexington – Hanscom Air Force.
Lexington — A crowd formed on Hanscom Drive on Friday, June 1, to watch a film crew shoot a scene for Adam Sandler’s sequel of his movie “Grown Ups.”
“Grown Ups 2,” starring Sandler, Taylor Lautner and Salma Hayek, is set to finish filming in mid-August and will be released next summer.
This was the only scene being shot in the Lexington area; the majority of the film is being shot in Marblehead and Swampscott. According to a public relations representative, the film needed a road with a specific look for the scene and the intersection on Hanscom Drive “fit the bill.”

There are fan pictures as well there so enjoy! I’ve been bugging my husband to go up there with me since the area is 30 minutes from us, though I’m not sure how much longer they will be there for. Side Note: My husband says Chris Rock was at Fenway Park for a Red Sox game last night too!!
